#8 Care for the Enviornment

Climate change is real. Progressive Christians care for creation by first reducing, then reusing and recycling. And they do a lot more things actively, everyday, to reduce their carbon footprint, including voting, installing solar panels, and educating.

The truth is, I have nothing to write about #8. The reasons are quite simple. The topic is so huge, I am over whelmed. I am also no expert. And I refuse to say something trite like start taking reusable shopping bags to the store. I reserve that advice for the group of 8 year old boy scouts I led just last week.

Instead, I draw your attention to Tevyn East, a prophet, dancer, activist, disciple of Jesus, who has taught me more through her one woman play about following Jesus than any eco-theology book I have read.
